Dr. Dongho (Damian) Gwak is a dual board-certified psychiatrist specializing in adult, adolescent, and child mental health. His philosophy focuses on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where patients can truly be heard.

With years of experience and a compassionate approach, Dr. Gwak offers tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve mental wellness. Located in Illinois, the practice is dedicated to providing supportive care for the whole family.

Education & Certifications: Dr. Gwak received his B.S. from Rice University and his M.D. from Texas A&M School of Medicine. He completed residency in adult psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (Northwestern University).

Our Approach: Specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, ASD, and more, Dr. Gwak provides evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy. He values collaboration with families to empower patients. As a native English speaker proficient in Korean, he connects with families from diverse backgrounds.
